I grew up in a small town in south Georgia, hence the better peaches. After completing my master's degree at Emerson in 2016, I taught college composition, worked as a freelance writer, and traveled the east coast researching early twentieth-century women pilots for someone’s book-in-progress. (That book is Fly Girls by Keith O’Brien, and you should read it!) Since May 2018, I’ve worked in the publicity department at Beacon Press in Boston, Massachusetts. But I also produce podcasts (like Adjunct Astrologers) with my fried Erin Jones and run a reading series called We Met Online with my partner, who I definitely met online. I tweet @mbetterpeaches

You can read more about my experiences in the publishing industry (and some hot takes no one asked for) in this Q&A on the Beacon Press blog.
